Annual Required Training for All Children's Ministry Workers

If you work in our children’s ministry in any capacity (teacher, volunteer, helper, van driver, etc.) you are requested to attend our annual training on Sunday, March 20th* immediately following the morning service. The class "Reducing the Risk and Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse" is required by our insurance carrier and all children's ministry workers must complete the class in order to be allowed to continue serving in our children's programs. Lunch will be provided.

Easter Sunday Breakfast

Easter Sunday Breakfast will be on Sunday, March 27th starting at 9:00am this year. Please sign up if you would like to bring something. The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the church lobby. Some food can be brought to the church on Wednesday night, everything else needs to be here by 8:45am on Easter Sunday. THANK YOU!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be on Sunday March 27th starting at 10:30am. While the adults and teens hide the eggs the children will attend a brief Sunday School class. Then the kids are divided into groups based on their ages for the egg hunt.

Our Easter Egg Hunt happens right here at the church. Weather permitting the kids will go outside to hunt eggs. If it rains or the ground is wet we will hold the egg hunt inside downstairs.

We also need your help. Please bring in plastic eggs filled with candy or change. Eggs should be closed and sealed with tape to prevent them from accidentally opening. Bring your plastic eggs to the church up to Easter Sunday. Thank you!

Happy New Year from Woodville Baptist Church!

This is such a wonderful time of the year. We get to share with others the many blessings God has so blessed us with. We have such a loving group of people at Woodville who are always willing to go the extra mile to make our visitors welcome. The sweet spirit of our church family seems too intense at this time of the year. We had one of the greatest years ever here at Woodville and look for an even greater 2016.
